What we collect

Roquer collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Email address and username (when you create an account via Apple or Google sign-in).
• Game data: Game results, time controls, and timestamps for games you log.
• Location (once per game): GPS coordinates are checked once when you log a game to find the nearest chess spot. Location is not tracked during play or at any other time.
• IP address: Logged at game submission for anti-abuse purposes only.

What we don't collect

• We do not track your location continuously.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
• We do not store chess moves or board positions.

How we use your data

• Calculate and display leaderboard rankings.
• Associate games with chess spots on the ChessGrid.
• Prevent abuse (multi-accounting, rating manipulation).

Data processing

Your data is stored and processed by Supabase (database and authentication) on infrastructure located in the EU. The website is served via Cloudflare Workers.

If you're in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to processing of your data
